„We started development and production under the brand-name AONE Nutrition six years ago and the reasons were very simple: On one hand, our adolescent children started to do sports intensively and brought home various sport nutrition products which we did not allow them to use because of unbalanced contents and ineffective forms of ingredients, on the other hand, our ageing parents needed effective nutritional supplements more and more to maintain vitality, mobility, digesting, etc..

After more than 20 years of research, development and production for other companies, we have become able to ignore marketing issues for AONE Nutrition products such as price, appearance, taste, etc., and we could start to focus exclusively on functionality and quality of the products. Our goal is to bring modern and effective products to the market, which we can use ourselves without any doubts, or recommend them to our relatives and friends.”

Dr. Ing. Ján Čullý

... after completing his studies of food chemistry at Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology of Slovak Technical University (SVŠT), Bratislava, he continued in the studies and development of Human Myeloperoxidase at Institute of Physiology and Chemistry of Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany. After defending his dissertation in 1987, he was employed in development department of SKW Trostberg (later Degussa). Successful speculative projects in the nutrition field (e.g. technology for cholesterol removal from eggs) and super critical extraction of natural substances had resulted in more than 30 European and American patents (e.g. Patent title: Method for producing a coenzyme Q10/.gamma.-cyclodextrin complex, or Patent Title: Process for separating beta-cyclodextrin from egg yolk, etc.), and in his quick promotion to leading positions in the company. In 1990, as the youngest authorized agent in the Bavarian chemical industry, he led a development team in SKW dealing with isolation of natural substances for nutrition and pharmacy. During this period, SKW became the first company supplying creatine for sport nutrition. At the same time, SKW under the leadership of Dr. Čullý started to produce antibiotics Vancomycin, Nistatin and Tiostrepton in a new-built plant in Budapest, Hungary. After ten years of working for SKW, Dr. Čullý accepted an offer from the company Wacker AG and he became manager of biotechnological division for Europe. Quick introduction of cystein produced by fermentation into the market is included into his merits. At this time, Dr. Čullý started also a close co-operation with the company Essentia belonging to his wife and producing mainly protein hydrolysates for nutrition applications. In the end of the year 2000, Dr. Čully left the company Wacker and started to focus on development of the company Essentia. Essentia, originally a manufacturer of special materials for nutrition supplement, started to transfer to the manufacturer of nutrition supplements after his joining the company. At present, the company with more than 150 products and strong technological background belongs among desired manufacturers for many renowned European brands. Nowadays, Essentia manufactures products for 27 renowned companies.
